This is the Eastern Capital of the Earth. A moderately sized City that is more a tourist trap then anything else. This is where Vegeta and Nappa land on Earth. Shortly after, Nappa destroys the city with a single blast.
Since then the city has been rebuilt and they even use the Saiyans attack as a way of attracting more tourists.
It is also the location where Raditz first landed. The Saiyan space pod he arrived in was destroyed by Gohan but parts of it can still be found somewhere near the city in the center of a wide open field.
Far from East City up in the frozen pole of the planet lies a place called Muscle tower. An old Headquarters of the infamous Red Ribbon Army. The base has long since been deserted but every so often a stray robot or someone looking for abandoned RR technology wanders though the broken down base.
