Old Namek
A lush blue-green meets your gaze. Planet Namek is by all definitions a paradise.
A world of green islands surrounded by water teams with life both reptilian and amphibian. Strange looking white spiked buildings rise in the distance. Surrounded by tall thin trees with tufts of leaves at the top. The planet is orbited by two suns and has no real night cycle. All of the animal life here share one common trait, they all have two antenna on their foreheads.
This is where the unique race who call themselves the Nameks reside.
Green in color with long pointed ears the Nameks are by the majority very peaceful and passive species. With a long history they are deeply rooted in their heritage and spirituality.
But things have not always been so serene on this world. Years ago a storm threatened to tear the planet apart. Many were lost and the few that remained sent a handful of their young to other worlds to that they may continue elsewhere. One such child was Kami of Earth. Since then the Namek race has slowly recovered.
New Namek
New Namek was colonized when the Original planet was destroyed in the battle between Goku and Freeza.
Similar in size and atmosphere the Nameks are slowly terraforming it with Namekian fauna and flora to look like their old home.
